Ordered one of these cases today ...

http://www.lian-li.com.tw/v2/en/pro..._index=319&cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=63

Looking to get i3 530 and this mobo ...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-004-ZT&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1124

Need this to run 1080p movies, so would like to find out will 530's own GPU be able to run 1080p without any problems ?? Or should I just buy 5570 ??

Also what PSU should I go for/ Will Corsair 450W be enough ??

Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated ;)

if you are not adding post processing effects the 530 igp will handle 1080p ok.

i would strongly suggest getting a modular psu or just about all free space inside that case will be stuffed with the extra cables.

Thanks for all your help peeps !!

Some picks .....

Have ordered Logitech Harmony One remote as well, will order all the components once I have my list finalised.

did you decide on a psu yet ?

either modular as i said or with the least amount and shortest cables (the corsairs have lots of very long cables) you can get would be best.

I've recently bought the same case to use with the components in my sig, except for the motherboard obviously which will be a Zotac 9300. I'm downsizing again from a Lian Li A05 and this case is ideal. Don't play games any more and I'm looking forward to having a lot more room around my desk!

would if been better of waiting for the q0
The Q08 is massive compared to this! I was looking into that one as well but am glad I went for the Q07 over it.

Compare the size of the two:

If I'm being honest I haven't built it yet, in fact I haven't even seen it yet! I'm at uni at the moment and had it delivered to my home address. I'm spending three months in the USA this summer as well so won't even be able to build it until September!

that corsair one is nice and small but it has a lot of long cables, it can be done but you have to stuff all the extra cables along the side of the dvd tray and in the space above the hard drive caddy.

i had the 400w ocz stealthxstream (which is slightly bigger than the corsair but has shorter cables) in mine and had to hold all the cables in while i screwed the side panel on lol :)

i eventually gave up on that case and got a sugo sg03 as my zotac 9300 wifi's gpu was running to hot for my liking with no airflow in the lian li :(

with the igp being built into the cpu in the i3 so being cooled by the cpu heatsink hopefully you wont have that problem :)
