Hi all,

So i built a htpc, antec isk300-150 with an ASRock E350 mobo, 8gb ram and a 60gb sataIII ssd. Running an external usb disk with media on.

What software is good for bluray iso playback? I was going to use powerdvd 12, tried it though and after mounting a bluray iso with virtual clone drive and loading into powerdvd 12 ultra, it moans it is an unsupported disc type??? The isos are fine.

Is there a package that just works? I am running win7 64bit.

Thanks but I don't think this is a player is it? I have already got the bluray iso using dvdfab and mount with virtual clonedrive. Just want something decent to play it.

I've tried ARCSoft TMT5, PowerDVD 11 and 12 Ultra, Nero HD, Plex and XBMC.

They all seem to play DVD and mkv files OK but blu-ray playback on TMT5, PowerDVD 11 and 12 seems somewhat laggy. The only way I can describe it is that it's not snappy and fluid motion, an ever so slight lag is noticed, especially on panning shots and on occaisions the audio goes out of sync.

I have the ASRock AMD E350 with integrated AMD 6310 (or possibly 6320) graphics, I can't remember which and monitoring GPU and CPU usage during blu-ray playback, they don't even break a sweat (10% - 15% max) so it makes me think it is either the player and/or ATI drivers? Unless, because I am playing media from a USB2 attached disk, the data rate required for Blu-Ray can't be sustained?

Any thoughts? I realize AMD drivers are not the best so I might try some other versions but where can I download these from for my GPU?
