I'm thinking of refreshing my HTPC build (currently a 3GHz Core2Duo with a 1GB 5450).
I'm not sure if it's worth using my Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H and Phenom II 1055T (perhaps disabling a couple cores to reduce volts and temps) along with the 5450 (which I believe can be crossfired with the mobo's onborad graphics?
Or should I look to sell the CPU/Mobo/RAM/GPU and buy and AMD APU solution?
It may be useful if it could play some simpler games from time to time, although it wont be a gaming machine.
