Hey guys,

In the next few months my room is being ripped out and re done... I have every movie and song I have ever owned on a 4TB nas so would like to stream them to my tv and to the ps3s around the house so that means I would have to use xbmc. The computer will be used as a gaming pc as well if a friend comes round or if i play some games with my brother or dad.. so I would like a x4 with 4-8 gb ram and would have to fit on top or under a Denon AVR1910 receaver.

I have £400 - £500 for this build and need it to be as eco as it can be to save the pennys as it will be on most of the time.

PARTS I OWN
- ATI 5850
- Sony DVD RW
(I may fit my bluray writer and use the dvd rw in this pc)

PARTS I NEED
- x4 Processor
- 4GB Ram with option to upgrade to 8gb
- PSU that can handle a 5850 and hopefully Modular
- A HTPC case
- A Sound Card (or use 5850 hdmi audio?)

Heres a random attempt,

wow, I didn't think i could get a i5 build for the price.. do you think iits worth putting a 64gb ssd in there as well?

Thanks stulid!

I did try a diffrent case but the only other only one cheaper (on this site) is a Mini-ITX even on other sites the best one seems to be the antec unless you spend £240 plus.. I may even be able to have a normail case but i wanted to make as much room as I could.

I will have a think about the case.. I may even go all out and spend more on one as it will be used for a while.

Thanks agian!
