Hello there, My name is Ciarank1 (new member) and I was thinking of building a PC for a good while now, so then I finally decided on going for a HTPC build. I was just wondering if this list of parts will cover it:

Processor: AMD A4-5300
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A75M-D3H
Ram: Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) Ballistix Sport DDR3 1600MHz
HDD: Western Digital 2TB Green
SSD (maybe): OCZ Technology 60GB Agility 3
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 380W

Im not too sure on going Blu-Ray or not though, is it worth it, I dont really have DVD's or Blu-Rays, just stream them.

I also have a 22" tv that i will be using, and I am using a case that I already have, so no need to suggest one :)

Thanks in advance, Ciarank1

Thanks :) ahm I wasnt thinking about getting one, but what would you recommend? I was thinking about getting a few silent case fans, that might take heat off the CPU?

Ah then I wont bother so.

no its a desktop case im using, so height is not quite a premium. I know its expensive but what about a Corsair H60? I might just leave it and find out myself how loud or bearable the stock cooler is.

Also, would the CPU be enough? I would be using it for light gaming, mostly old classics that are not that hard to run. The most it would run would be PS2 era games. Maybe GTA IV but i dont care if it cant run that.
