Htpc cables

I am thinking of building a htpc but i want to connect it to my main tv as it supports 1080p, how would i go about connecting my pc via hdmi, could i use a "1.8M Datawrite HDMI TO DVI Cable" to connect the gfx card to the hdmi on the back of my tv?

DVI-HDMI cable is the one you want. But the TV must be on when you start the PC up or it will not pick it up. You will have to supply an output from the soundcard as it will not carry the Audio.
