Time has come to update my HTPC and the wife is insisting that the only thing she cares about it being able to close the drawer on the TV stand. This is a problem, as the depth of the shelf inside the drawer is 400mm and my current SilverStone Grania case (12 years old) is at least 420mm (it is perfect in terms of width and height.)

An added complication is that it will be air-cooled (so does need space) and also needs at least 3 internal 3.5mm drive bays.

I have searched pretty hard and everything I find seems to either be 420/450mm or 350, but only has two internal drive bays.

Any suggestions?

What height limit ?

Streacom F12C is short depth (320mm) but tall (185mm with feet) and standard hifi width (440mm). Can fit full ATX board + PSU + long GPU + multiple 3.5 HDD's if your creative with the modular layouts. Tons of venting ... which conversely leads to not much noise dampening ... so if you want the system to be quiet, you're relying on your components being quiet, not the case.

Plus ... it looks very clean

I have one , but am swithering over keeping it or moving to a tower style now as I dont need the horizontal format.

Here is an early build of mine ... its changed a bit now .though
