Hmmm been looking at HTPC cases today and whats with the lack of variety! I have a mini-ATX machine I want to stuff in a nice small neat looking case. Problem is I dont want an optical drive and I can use a 2.5" hd. Half the htpc cases I see have space for a load of harddisks and always at least 1 optical drive. Its just a waste of space compared to what I'm after!
So my question is I guess has anyone actually spotted a decent htpc case that does not have a space for an optical drive?

Sounds good. Although I've been thinking and I have completely forgotten about my graphics card in that machine. Its not a small one...
Btw thats a huge sig!

is it atx, or mini itx your after building ?

mini-itx are the smaller square ones with 1 expansion slot usually.

for small cases, theres usually more choise if its mini-itx over micro-atx.

Yeah dont worry I'm aware of the difference :) I own a mini-itx system too. Its def mini-atx I am wanting to build
