I've been looking for a big screen for my bedroom for ages now and was planning on a LCD with 1:1 pixel mapping to use as my primary monitor for my PC I doubt I'm going to get near £600 any time soon so I'm considering buying a CRT.

If I get a CRT I won't be using it as my primary monitor for my PC but would like to use it for gaming watching movies and may eventually turn my PC into a HTPC.

I have around a £150/200 budget. Seems that Toshiba 32ZP48P is popular here but it is over my budget. I have seen the Toshiba 32ZP46P for £125 second hand but what's the difference between the 46p/48p?

I also remember seeing hearing about CRTs with 1080i support, which CRTs were these if any?

Samsung slim CRT offers 1080i, but from all the complaints they have lousy geometry. And the usual problems with CRT - convergence, focus , flicker etc.

The 409/419/429s? Shame they all have so many problems.
