Building a new PC shortly. Apart from the everyday webbrowsing and office work this machine will mainly be used as a HTPC or encoding videos. Budget is below £350 all in. I already have 8Gb of Ripjaws DDR3 and will also be bringing an OCZ 650w modular psu into this new build. Gaming is not a priority and as such may be able to use my current ATi 4670 card. Case does not need to be a HTPC model.

Please spec away.

Intel would be your best bet. The i3 and above have quick sync which uses the IGP to boost video encoding (it works very well).

Not sure exactly what you need but that's under £350

The mobo supports USB3 and sataIII. The SSD is only sataII but it was cheap there was money left over if you wanted a sataIII SSD, I'm assuming you wanted a good sized HDD to encode to aswell?
