I am currently looking into building two HTPC's, one for myself, one for the other half. The one for the other half is more important as she doesnt currently have any sort of DVD/Blu-ray play back devices where she lives. I'm also planning on using hers as a bit of a guinea pig.
Requirements -
Cheap as possible. Considered just getting a popcorn hour or ps3, but her laptops, both work and home, are rubbish and she needs something stable to do a bit of word/excel work on.
Case - not much room, hoping to fit either between a chest of drawers and wardrobe, with about a 10 inch gap between the two, or hidden away in a cupboard. She's also requested it be pink
Main uses - Other than the work stuff, a bit of internet browsing, storing her god awful itunes music collection and full hd playback of dvd/blu-ray.
