HTPC- IGP 4400/4600 vs Nvidia 9600GT

I've been looking for a dirt cheap GPU to put in an HTPC for some light / old gaming and have been thinking about a 9600GT / 8600GTS and 4670/5670 type Single Slot cards that generally go for under £20. Will these actually offer any better 720p gaming performance than the IGP in a haswell CPU? I'm not sure what CPU I'll get so is there a big performance difference between the 4400 and 4600?

the 9600gt i would say but that is my opinion i can say that you wont be able to do any heavy gaming but at the res you want it should be fine

I can vouch for the 5670 for light gaming. I have the sapphire ultimate 1 gb gddr5. It's passive / silent and supports direct X 11. It's bus powered as well.

I've had it in my room PC for light gaming and steam streaming receiver.
