I am after an HTPC Keyboard and want to buy it tonight so your input is appreciated.

I have these 2 into consideration:

Logitech diNove Edge
Logitech diNovo Mini

What I'd like:
Long battery life
Looks good (as it will be on display!)
Must be able to do everything I need which is basically the following:
  • XBMC Navigation
  • Total Media Theatre 5 compatable
  • Light web browsing

The diNovo Mini is small and elegant and I like the design. The only thing putting me off is the battery life which I read can last 1-3 days and not 30 as per advertising.
The diNovo Edge is elegant and quite nice as well but it is also bulky. The battery life however is excellent according to user experience and reviews. Another thing is I read that the keys wear out in time with use!

Which one of these should I get?
Or should I consider something else? (needs to have a touchpad)

That's it basically!

Yeah right now i am leaning towards the edge as well because of battery life and it looks nicer than the mini tbh... however the mini does have backlit keys

decisions... decisions...

I have the Dinovo Mini and an MS Arc Desktop for my HTPC.

The Mini is great, and suits a media center well - it has a little switch to fire up Media Center. Wierdly, that never takes full screen focus so I have to switch it to MC mode start, switch to keyboard mode, click focus, and then switch back to MC mode.

I use the Arc Desktop when I want to actually type something or use a special character - so the Mini is not enough in that respect. The Arc normally just lives at the side of the sofa.

If you are just media centering, then the Mini is enough if you have a usb keyboard to hand when you need one.

(I get 1-2 weeks on the Mini between recharges)

Going to buy soon and I think I am going with the Mini as it is smaller, still stylish and has backlit keys.

Regarding battery, I don't mind charging it once a week or two... heck I charge my smartphone everyday!

and also f the battery goes in a year or two logitech will issue a replacement if it is still under warranty!
