I have Qnix monitor so I need to be able to output at 2560 minimum to DVI. Can you do HDMI to DVI at this resolution?

Also, the spec of motherboard states that it can handle 4K, encase I get a 4K tv in the future.

Grpahics
- VGA (1920x1200 @ 60Hz)
- Supports DVI with max. resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz
- Supports HDMI with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz

Not sure if I really need 8GB either...?

No I reckon 4gb is enough to be honest. However regarding the resolution questions you'd have to wait until someone that knows their stuff replies to this ;)
