I've upgraded my HTPC by installing a Sapphire 4850. Gaming is fine and performance is better than I expected however the CPU hits 70+ degrees C after an hour of gaming.

Case cooling (Antec Fusion) is curently provided by 2 X 120mm Case Fans.

CPU is cooled by a Passive Scythe Mini Ninja. As this is the reason for the overheating I'm looking for a silent solution.

Any ideas :)

Do you still have the fan which come with the Scythe, strap that to the heatsink and see if you can control it through the motherboard fan header.
I found my one noisey at full speed.

Have you got any pictures of insides ?

Not currently. I've routed all the cables to allow good airflow.

Yeah, I've got the original fan. Just need to dig it out of the box in the loft. Will give that a go and see what it's like.
