HTPC Rebuild = Recommended Bundle?

Hi,

My poor old HTPC is on it's last legs, so I'm looking to replace the MB/CPU/Memory with a suitable bundle.

The machine has a HD2600 Pro GPU, 650W PSU and 4 HD (1 IDE and 3 SATA) and a IDE DVD. Sound is currently being delivered to my 5.1 AMP via a coaxial SPDIF output from the MB inbuilt soundcard.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a minimum spec for a MB/CPU/Memory bundle that will allow me to continue playing at 1080p and ideally the MB should have an onboard 5.1 soundcard with coaxial SPDIF output.

Any ideas, anyone?

any budget at all ?

edit: been looking around and i can only find newer boards with optical spdif not coaxial so you might have to change the way you use it .. maybe sound over hdmi ? is that an option ?

No real budget limitation, but as it's only a HTPC I don't want to throws wads at it. BIOS is failing on the old MB and the hassle of sourcing and installing a new chip is just not worth it on an old MB.

Audio over HDMI would be fine - it's going into a Sony Bravia amp, and that has HDMI passthrough, I'm just not using at the moment. (Sky is Toslink, PS3 is Toslink, Wii is audio phonos and HTPC was coaxial SPDIF)
