Old HTPC was something I cobbled together from old partsI had lying around and was built nearly 6 years ago

Am wanting to update it as am going to be using it a my 'watch and listen whilst using the turbo trainer' and was wondering what is the cheapest I can get a HTPC system together for? Budget of around the £120 mark.

Will be re-using case, DVD, PSU and HDD.

Have been contemplating using the AMD APU's as can leave the system on and have it merrily mine away for stuff while I am away, but have not looked at building a computer for over 12 months so am way behind on what is what.

Cheers in advance

So you need cpu, motherboard and ram for £120? Something like this would fit the bill I'd say:

YOUR BASKET
1 x AMD A6-5400K Black Edition 3.60GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Dual Core Processor (AD540KOKHJBOX) £47.99
1 x Asus A55BM-E AMD A55 Chipset (Socket FM2+) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £37.99
1 x TeamGroup Elite 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED34GM1600HC11DC01) £32.99
Total : £118.97 (includes shipping : FREE).

Murky Bucket..... muchos tintyweb cookies to you :D:D

EDIT:- All ordered and have also added a AC Alpine 64 Pro Rev. 2 cooler in there too ..... I likes quiet I does.

Also trying out the UPS Collect Service as there is a place just around the corner from where I work so can get that as opposed to the endless faff of cards and re-deliveries
