Hello everyone, Im planning on building a HTPC, just wanted to get everyones ideas on my build-spec.

Media Centre Build

UPDATE: Sorry, i forgot the mention that i want to use it purely for as a media centre to watch movies, stream content, no gaming, 1080p movies mainly..

Yeah without knowing more the first thing that stands out is that you don't need the graphics card as the one on the i3 will be more than adequate for HTPC duty.

I agree. For a media pc, integrated graphics are fine. Even on my s775 setup with x4500 on board I dont have any issues.

Not done anything with my i3-540/Gigabyte H55 setup yet but I expect it to be a fair bit better again.
