I'm building a mini-itx system, basic 14nm pentium, onboard GFX, m2 SSD for the OS, and 6x mechanical drives (WD red) serving 32TB of storage.

Regarding PSU;

Clearly noise and space constraints exist, so modular cabling, and intelligent fan control is a must.

I have an X-Series Modular Seasonic Gold in my main PC, and it's excellent - so was looking at this brand primarily. Seems the only option is a G-Series 450W. 450 seems overkill, but not necessarily a negative thing? The 360W version is not modular (why not!?).

Looked at Pico PSUs driven from a 12v DC brick, but by the time I get all the bits, it's more expensive than a Seasonic supply that's just tidier.

Any other brands that I should be considering? Can't see why I need more than 200W.
