HTPC system, need some advice.

Looking to put together a HTPC PC, however unsure as to what motherboard, GFX card and case to go with, also what PSU? the PSU's that seems to come with cases seem a bit weak however this obviosuly isnt a desktop PC so maybe there enough.

I have a Q9550 and DDR2 memory I can use.


Help spec me a system?

Hi there, this thread may be of use to you, particuarly the third section on HTPCs, it depends specifically on your intended use of HTPC though, if its also going to game then yeah the supplied PSUs would be a bit weak to power a system incl high end dedicated gfx card, if its just office/desktop/movies then onboard gfx will suffice and therefore so will the inbuilt PSU
