HTPC & Tv tuners.

I'm thinking about building a HTPC.

I am tempted to build a one with Tv tuners for DVBS2 and T2 but I am worried that it will be too hard for my parents to use to watch TV.

I want it to be as easy to use as the sky box for example. Are my worries baseless?

Should I just build a HTPC without TV capabilities?

Tv tuners work really well and are very simple to use once setup. The setup is the most fiddly part at times depending on what software you use to view the live tv.

I use mediaportal for live tv with my nova s2 tuner and it works like a charm, i'll link you there guide to setting up a tv tuner once i get a spare mo, it may look daunting but the guide is really well explained
