I get quite a lot of use out of my HTPC, so I think an upgrade from the old AMD Althlon64 x2 6000+ is required.

So I'm not really sure which route to take, SB Pentium or AMD A4?

The basic requirements are; mATX and HDMI out if AMD.

I already have a HD6450 for if I was to go with Intel, but this will obviously not be required if I go with the A4 cpu. The aim is to get it as cool as possible and nice and low power, as I may end up leaving it on 24/7 sometimes.

I have £100-150 to spend, although less is better as I want a new PSU as my one is the nosiest part of the system now.

Is it worth waiting for? When's it due? Tbh I think what's available now should do me just fine, I literally only use XBMC and WMC
