A friend wants a upgrade for his HTPC, I've spec'd the below, although I'm not sure this is the best option. He only needs the parts below...

can you do better for the same money or ideally £250? He does have a dedicated GPU he could use (a low powered amd 5 series)

I would probably do this as you can upgrade all the way up to an I-7 and also make it into a gaming as well.

That's an interesting build, what are your thoughts on it playing x265 content via kodi software decoding?

Edit - Is there a micro/itx board you'd recommend instead?
