HTPC: Upgrading ATOM+ION to Liano

Hi,

I was wondering if upgrading my current Zotac ATOM+ION combo to a Liano custom based HTPC would offer me any benefits. The truth is that 99% of the HD content plays fine in the small Zotac box...

I would wait for Trinity to be released on the 2nd of October. The 65W TDP A10-5700 looks quite interesting. The IGP is probably going to be around HD6570 GDDR3 level at least I suspect.

The 100W TDP A10-5800K was tested - the 65W TDP A10-5700 and A6-5400K would probably be more suitable for HTPC use.

Dear all,

I am thinking of selling my PS3 (which I rarely use anymore) and my HTPC and build a new gaming HTPC based on Trinity. I will mainly watch HD content, browse the internet and play some split screen games or sports games with friends. I want the pc to be able to play eg Fifa 13 in 1080p. Is this possible with A10-5800K?
