Anyone able to do a comparison of these? I currently have a 40" LCD with HDMI input and wish to get a decent source to play media files / blu ray etc.

I'm torn between building either a linux HTPC / Microsoft Home Server and just buying a box + HDD.

It'll be networked via 100mbit CAT5E.

Thanks in advance.

I havent tried an A110, but I did compare a Vista MCE HTPC, the Popcorn A100 and the Tvix M-6500A. In the end I kept the Tvix and havent looked back since. The HTPC never quite did what i wanted, how I wanted and the Popcorn felt buggy at times in menus and playback. For me, the Tvix was near enough perfect.

Thanks for the feedback Burned_Alive. Did you get one with HDD installed or just bare drive. Seems expensive to get one with HDD installed. Any ideas if they'll just take any OEM SATA HDD?

Cheers
