HTPC & Win7 - CAN I GET A REMOTE CONTROL?

I'll keep it simple - I'm going to build an HTPC or similar for use with a full HD living room TV, and will be watching MP4 movies from the hard drive.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and want to know if I will be able to buy a remote control to save me from using a keyboard and mouse whilst watching movies?

Any suggestions?

To be honest I don't mind - whatever works best for a remote.

I tend to prefer VLC or Windows Media Player.

Will I have any problems with a remote running Win 7 64-bit?

The OcUK one looks good, but can anyone tell me what kind of general functionality I should expect within Windows? I've just tried Win Media Center and found that it won't play my MP4s... therefore, would a remote work with say normal Win Media Player or VLC? If the basic remote functions work with various programs then all good.
