HTT bus speed advice

Hi I've been running my OC for a few months now with no problems and it's Prime stable. However I thought I'd just ask for some advice.

My settings are:

HTT: 260
CPU multi: x10
LDT multi: x4
RAM divider: 5/6 (166MHz)

Specs in sig.

My question is, even though it seems stable, should I lower the LDT multiplier to x3 (as currently at x4 the HTT bus runs at 1040MHz) taking it to 780MHz? (seems low) I see many sites are advising not to OC the HTT bus. Cheers.

If its all running stable then it probably isn't a problem overclocking it a bit. I found mine could run a fair bit over and not cause any crashes. However, the HTT bandwidth is barely saturated anyway so dropping it to x3 probably wouldn't hurt performance anyway.

Its only a 40MHz overclock you've got on it, so I would leave it as it is unless my system seemed unstable at all:)

most board ive played with are only good for about 1100mhz on the HT bus. It doesnt make any difference though, you could run 2x and i doubt you'd see any difference at all.

Cheers.

Are there any programs out there that show your real-time HTT bus speed? All I've found are ones that calculate it based on what you input.

If you look at the spec for these boards the 'ideal' region is actually between about 750 to 900 - although the Asus's's's and DFI's are more than capable of performing to 1200Htt and beyond - the extra bandwidth is wasted, so not really worth the risk/instability - best to keep it between 800-1000 if you can.

LDT speed is the LDT multi x HTT speed, why do you need a program to see it
