Wow

In no way am I endorsed or sponsored by this company / individual - just to get the legal stuff out of the way.

I brought a Sigma 85mm F/1.4 and after using it at a couple of test shoots, I noticed it lack from front focusing issues. Looking at what to do I thought about sending it to be calibrated by professionals and looking at the cost such as the service, packaging and sending out by tracked royal mail.

So after a bit of research found the software above, they have two licenses the semipro or pro version. I took the plunge for semipro and I think it cost me £20 for this software.

Using this software and going through a trail and error process I think I found the sweet spot in which my lens needs to be.

I'll show an example below:

Seriously, if you know or think your lens suffers from focusing issue and want to give this calibration too a go. There are other products out on the market but this is a cheaper alternative.

What is the difference between this to Micro adjust ?

Its an automatic calibration, tells you what to adjust your micro adjust too basically. Also gives you a run down of what Aperture that specific lens is sharpest at on your camera. Can register multiple cameras to one license as well I believe. Apparently its very good, I was actually going to try it myself the other day.

Your image at 100% doesn't look sharp enough for F4 on that prime (specifically her eye lashes). Perhaps it's your slow shutter speed?
