https with red cross in url?! :S

Didnt know where to post this? But anyway, On nearly all my webpages, there is a red cross going through the http part of the url? And when I go to my hotmail, It doesnt show as a webpage? Like everything is to the left and bundled up

We get this at work sometimes. Make sure the usual suspects such as IE, Flash, Java etc is all up to date. Get rid of temp files and all the other crap that builds up.

In Internet Options (assuming you're using IE), go to the Advanced tab, scroll down to multimedia and make sure the 'Show Pictures' option is checked.

With regards to this topic, there is a software section further down containing Windows sub forums etc.
