Hi all and hope you have all had a good weekend, just wanting to know really is there any browsers out there were you can browse every site as HTTPS? or any addons for firefox?

What do you mean browse every site? HTTPS would need to be enabled on the webhost, so I can't see that being possible.

Why would you need to do this?

Doubtful, that won't work as you can only connect to sites using https if they support it, i.e. have it configured, and most won't for general connections.

The majority of sites will not be https as it puts a big overhead on the servers which is pointless if a secure channel is not needed.

If you're simply wanting to stay 'secure' as far as your browsing not being logged or monitored for any reason, you can always sign up for an anonymous SSL VPN. Witopia are supposed to be good, and are quite cheap (about £30 a year I think, off the top of my head). They have fast UK and US servers (handy for getting the right IP for web based TV shows), don't log your usage and everything's done over 256 bit encryption from you to them.

Them physically pulling the site you want to THEIR server won't be encrypted, but it's not logged by them and your activities show up on the eventual destination/site as a random IP from Witopia's server farm.

Probably more than you wanted to know, but meh. :)
