Looking for a laptop for each of my 13 year old daughters. Based on initial research the Huawei D15 matebook seems to get recommended in reviews (i5, 8gb, £600). Is this a good buy or is there something else I should be looking at?

Will be used for lightweight gaming (Minecraft) and o365 based homework.

From a quick look, it just uses the integrated gpu on the cpu rather than having a dedicated gpu so any gaming will be severely restricted.
Think youll struggle to get a gaming laptop at that price unless you go 2nd hand...

If you up your budget towards the £700 mark you should be able to pick something up with an RTX3050 which is vastly superior to the integrated graphics.

If you wait for the Ryzen 6000 series laptops they have RDNA2 graphics built in so will be more suitable for light gaming
