Huawei Dongle and external aerial help please.

I have a huawei dongle with a external aerial socket.

Someone has given me a external aerial with a different connector on it and im not sure what adaptor to get or whether it would be better to cut the one off thats on it and put another one due to the restricted space you have with a dongles socket.

Could some one please advise as to what i need to do thanks

Have looked for a pig tail with the correct ends on it?

The antenna connector looks to be FME(female). And it looks like the Huawei end could be CRC9, but the pictures aren't very clear and you haven't included any model information for the dongle.

given how much those antennas cost (total ripoff imo) and I have personal experience with the ebay cheapy ones being worthless, I recommend just using a USB extension cable instead to put the USB modem where you need it.
