Huawei hg633 on plusnet

Hi all. New here so hi!!

I've just move to plusnet broadband. The supplied router is poor. I'd like to use the Huawei hg633 from talktalk
Does anyone know if I can or how to flash it?

Didn't you get their version of the BT HH5? Not the best router in the world, but should be at least as good as the HG633 (better on paper).

Do you actually need to re-flash the HG633? Can't you just enter the new username and password for the connection?

Is there a retail version of the HG633? If as I suspect it's a TalkTalk only device you're probably stuck with their firmware.

No, I just have the Plusnet 2704n. Normal adsl.
However, just tried the plusnet username init and it's fired straight up.
