Huawei P30 Pro replacement. Am I mad?

Hi,

My P30 Pro needs replacing and I'm struggling about what I should replace it with.

I really want a Samsung S23 Ultra but can justify the cost.

I can get a Samsung S21 Ultra for under £600 on a contract over the 24 month term.

My main use is for the Camera... Am I mad to consider a two year old phone???

S21 is actually a refurb so will leave alone and continue by search...

I went from P3 Pro to Pixel 7 Pro. Very pleased with the jump. Camera is far better than P30 Pro

+1 to the Pixel, if camera is your main focus then they're one of the best to go for. Pixel 8 is coming soon but rumoured to have a price hike, but P7 still does a very good job.

I still have my P30 Pro....absolute workhorse of a phone. I'd get a new P model but they don't have the Google stuff easily available without faffing out with side loading. Half tempted to get another P30 Pro new if I can find one.

I got a Vivo X Note as a replacement. Very similar feel to it, but a bigger screen and you do have to do a bit of work to get Google working.

Only downsides so far are no timeline and issues with android auto.
