Hello

The tablet is recognising that the card is there because the Storage setting gives me the option of using either the internal storage or the card. When I select the card it says that it will be used. I have downloaded a couple of apps but the internal storage kicks in and tells me there is not enough room.... which is the reason I wanted to put a card in!!

Thanks for your help, any ideas.
 
Hi, been here with same or similar tablet.

The huawei OS does not allow apps to be stored on the sd card.
So you can save Netflix downloads or media there but not apps.
Really frustrating and pointless not to allow it. The OS takes up a crazy amount of space

Ended up grabbing a fire HD once the kids taste for apps got too big

Yeah this is a money grabbing move by Huawei to get you to stump up for a model with larger storage.

Only way round is to install a custom OS but that's probably not what you're after.
