I'll start by explaining my network setup...
BT Home Hub 3 (Wireless Disabled)
|
Apple Airport Express (Current Model) Attached via cable to Home Hub for WiFi.
This setup is working fine, the reason I am using the Airport Express for WiFi is so I can make use of AirPlay between my Apple Devices. The Airport Express is in Bridge Mode.
Every network device I own is connected to the Airport Express with no problems at all.
I am trying to setup the Huawei WS320 Wireless Extender to give better Wireless Signal over the other side of my home. I am setting it up next to the Airport to start with then move it when/if I get it working.
I have tried connecting it in the two different ways it offers, the first using the "Add wireless client" option in Airport Utility then pressing the WPS button on the Huawei WS320. The Second way is by logging into the Huawei WS320's control panel via its IP address and manually entering the wireless password.
The LED on the Huawei WS320 goes green signalling it has connected to the Airport using both methods above. When I move my iPhone close to the Huawei WS320 it connects to it fine but I have no internet access. When I turn the Huawei WS320 off the phone will switch back to the Airport and I have internet.
Anyone have any ideas as to why I am not getting internet when connected to the Huawei WS320?
Thanks in Advance!
