Anyone know of any similar products as the Defi VSD II? Sadly it's been discontinued, and the replacement version adds in all kinds of functions which I don't want, as well as pushing the price up well over £200.

All I want is RPM, shiftlight and MPH for about £100. Ideas anyone?

Kenwood used to do one. Probably just show ya what radio channel your on though lol

the other problem with the defi was that you needed to have their interface box iirc, which pushed it up even more

i'm not having much luck trying to find alternatives thou

there were a couple of older jap cars that had them, inc a pretty limited s13 silvia iirc. Maybe you could find a dash from one of thouse and splice it in....

The old Defi was fine - was just plug and play. The new one needs all the gubbins

Seen a couple of lads with Renaults running them, though it was a few years back

maybe set up a search on some auction sites and wait it out then matey
