Huge Crysis Wars graphics glitches?

Ok just reinstalled Crysis Wars to see how it is with my new mouse, and now I'm getting this flashing and alternating on my screen, pretty much strobing tbh:

I'm running on a Powercolour 5870 and i7 920 and never got these problems before, haven't checked the SP games to see if the glitches are present there as well. Also, it doesn't want to go above 1680*1050, yet my monitor is 1080p, if that gives any clue as to what the problem is?

Any ideas?

and every now and then the screen goes like this

I've noticed it only happens on shrubbery and the sky, generally when inside the game runs fine?

did it on mine, its the radeon driver. works fine on cat 10.3

I haven't played Crysis Wars in forever. Are there many servers still running with players on it?

I may install it again if there are.
