Been running my 2500k at 4.5Ghz for a while now, but today I thought I would just play with it a little bit. Just set the voltage to auto for now and the multiplyer to 48. I usually use coretemp to monitor my temps but thought I would load up real temp at the same time, but the difference in the reported temp is huge!

Any ideas?

i find core temp to mess up when i run IBT so i use real temp or hwmonitor for that test, you will get high temps with that 4.8 and auto volts i bet you got very hight vcore run CPU-Z and check vcore out

?? But why the massive difference between Real temp & Core temp, regardless of the vcore? If i run both temps are just about identical
