Huge files in Temp folder

There are five in total, and they sum to 2.3GB. I ran a quick check to see what was using them and nothing came up.

I deleted them - but then they oddly returned a day later! Does anybody have any clues as to what they are / why they're there? Googling their names doesn't bring anything up.

They have random names such as PR5BF9.tmp or PR19D9.tmp.

What OS?
Where are they created?
Perhaps run ccleaner (temp files and reg) and malwarebyte to give your system a clean?

I should have mentioned - Ccleaner was the program that found them initially and deleted them. I've got rid of them again and will see.

I'm running Vista Ultimate 64.

Hmmm, could be some sort of virus or something. My system performance is fine, might reboot into safe mode and give Kaspersky a work out.

No, nothing was found. :confused:

I've updated to the latest versions of Kaspersky. Will see what happens.
