Huge performance hit with catalyst 14.1 beta

Hey all, since updating to the latest Catalyst Beta 14.1 drivers I've noticed huge performance drops in games and benchmarks using my R9 290x. I've taken some measurements using benchmarks - all stock - comparing current beta with the catalyst 13.11 beta v8 (which has given me the best performance to date). Anyone else seen this happen to them since updating? Not measured performance in games yet, but it all feels very 'sluggish'

My drops in the Unigine benchmarks have been similarly large, though I am one of those that likes to 'mess about' with Mantle and BF4 :P
 
I have also noticed the Performance hit but only on the Benchmark software Like Heaven 4.0 and 3Dmark

Games have been fine for me, its not enough to make me give up the superb Mantle :D
 
Best Heaven Driver is Beta 7 or 13.12. Its close but Beta 7 would get my vote for benching with.
