Humble Bundle Mojam

Starting this Friday, February 17th at 10 CET Mojang will be creating a new game LIVE with all of the money going to charity. With the help of our friends at HumbleBundle.com, we are having a fun game jam weekend! By donating, you will be given the game created in the 60 hours (and maybe some other fun things too).

Seems like it might be an rts from the polls, will be interesting to watch it come together.

Cool idea. I know in the past Notch took part in a competition to develop a game from scratch in like 2 days or something, and he made a working 2D above view minecraft like game. Was very impressive.

I really hope so actually. I'm a java developer by profession and just watching them whizz out code in eclipse makes me want to have a poke.

Hmm, apparently Oxeye's game is being made in Lua. Interesting. I have looked into it in the past, but not much beyond doing cool things with Conky
