Hi Peeps

I've got quite a few items in my Humble Bundle library and I haven't downloaded quite a lot of them. Over the years I've downloaded individual files as PDF's etc as I've needed them but not noticed there is a torrent option. Would this be much easier to do as in get all the torrents set up and then walk away and leave the software to it's job? Because at present I'm having to click through each download indivudally. I've not use a torrent in about 15 years so I can't remember how easy it all was. Any advice about a decent torrent software and any pitfalls would be greatly appreciated.

Do they offer their own torrent client or do you just use whichever?

If you can select your own, qBittorrent would make for a very simple experience. You launch whatever you want to download via a magnet link or torrent file, select a folder (you can apply a default), and let it run. From a site like Humble Bundle it should be safe enough, just hold in mind that unless you configure/limit your bandwidth usage via the client it'll use as much of your network as it possibly can assuming there's enough seeds/peers on the tracker, this might slow down your internet usage if you connect with other devices. Limiting download/upload speeds is very simple however, so it's just a case of remembering to set things up, couple of minutes max.

qbittorrent as mentioned above is very easy to setup and use. Only fiddly bit is that you may need to setup port forward via your router if you want to seed any torrent you download i.e. making you connectable rather than just being able to download
