Humming sound

Since I got my new pc theres a humming sound coming from one of the hard drives

as the case i'm using is tool-less is there anyway to stop the vibrations or any suggestions on sorting it

At times it's not that bad but when background noise has gone it's clearly audible

Replace it with an ssd.

might try change the acm on the drive

You don't mention the case you are using, but usually you can get some small silicone washers between the drive and the rails, and this will damp down vibrations and take any slack out of the drive mounts.

Usually it's just the tool-free mounts vibrating with the drive, as although they hold the drive in place, they still have a little play in them and this allows the various parts to vibrate as the drive spins.
