Last night I realised Huntelaar plays for Schalke now, he really seems to have moved around quite a bit the last few years.

but why on earth did he go to Schalke in the first place? Was it literally because they had secured Champions League football? They're going to end there season quite badly and it's a shame. And because of this, are they likely to see most of their best places go along with CL football? If so, is Hunterlaar likely to move on again?

As a Spurs fan, I know as well as anyone else does that we need a quality striker. And I'd be happy to see the man at the Lane.

I don't know, he may have been injured. Or maybe it's just been a preference to play Raul.

Neur is a worry too now. He lost his game a little last night, maybe it was because he was too nervous knowing everyone was looking to see if he would put another class performance in like last week.

He's just not very good, took him ages to score his first goal there iirc. Hasn't done so well, isn't first choice. Wouldn't cut it at a top side in the prem imo

Its debateble how good he is. 8 goals in 13 starts for Real isn't exactly poor, by any stretch but then Real had their silly summer and he appeared to be shipped out to make room for other players. Sneijder was also shipped out, does that make him crap?

AT Milan they apparently got rid of him to make space for Ibra, again he didn't have many starts, scored some important goals but was frequently benched or even left off the bench, was it because Inzaghi was better, or more liked, or the president/owners wanted Inzaghi to play, or maybe Huntelaar is a complete **** and no clubs are willing to put up with him for long.

He obviously did well at Ajax but the dutch league has to be just about the worst league in the world for judging who will be a good striker in other leagues.

Only 11 starts at Milan, got 7 goals, 13 starts at Real, 8 goals, 22 starts at Schalke with 7, but at a midtable team. 8 goals in 4 Euro qualifiers isn't bad at all.

I wouldn't say it's not an easy league for judgements, it's just that the players they've produced haven't been as good as previous years, e.g. those from the 90s.

I don't think Sneijder will ever have a season like the last one, he really out did himself.

He looked sharp last night, would have scored one but for a fine save from VdS and had another chalked off for a very narrow offside.

He has been injured for 2-3 months. His goalscoring record is pretty good and I've always been quite impressed with him. Think he could do a good job at someone like Spurs.

Really not sure he's any better than what you already have tbh, great at Ajax but like most strikers who excel in Holland he's been a bit part at every club since, Real, Milan & now Schalke

Who knows though maybe Arry will bring the best out of him like he has VDV

Hes been injured for quite a while now but before that him and Raul had quite a decent partnership going on upfront. I think he went to Schalke because like Raul he saw a club where he is going to get a lot of football and they are one of the biggest clubs in Germany with ambitions in Europe.
