Finally after a long 5/6 years wait Hurrican is released.

IF you remember Turrican on C64/Amiga etc. then give this 'remake/redux' version a try (on PC), you will not be disappointed.

a small demo was released in 2002 of Hurrican as WIP, unless you have this confused with other remakes like t4funeral or T2002 ?

Curse you!!!

Those screen reminded me of a game I loved when I was a kid but I can not remember the name.

It was a side-scrolling game with a robot/cyborg type thing who ran/jumped and shot things.... yeah, could I be any more vague.

I can still clearly picture some of the weapons though like this yellow laser (which I think just shot out of his hands) and the more of that laser you picked up the more powerful it became.

He used to do really cool flips when he jumped... sigh. this is oing to drive me nuts.

This was aweful from what i remember. Shadow of the beast would have been better

Are you serious? Shadow of the Beast was a classic example of 'all gfx no substance'. Turrican wee'd all over it.

Really odd since I was reminissing about my C64 days and ready the wikipedia entry on Turrican yesterday. Manfred Trenz the original writer is a game writing god in my book!!
