Anyone here own a Husky? After reminiscing watching the good old Snow Dogs I'm eager to get my hands on one of these beautiful animals. They truly are incredible. If you have one, post pics up, I'd love to see
Are they relatively 'easy' to raise? Any problems along the way?

Not an easy dog to keep or train for that matter, beware! Dont fall into the trap of wanting a dog for what they look like. I suggest you read up on the charcteristics of the breed.

Remember what Husky's are bred for, very energetic, a pack animal and requires mental and physical exercise. They can be very difficult to housebreak.

Any idea where to check out for guidance? I won't be getting one for a while (if I do) anyway so it's best to start reading up now rather than later!

chews shoes, costing a fortune...

needs tons of excercise

and his stomach is the most fragile thing on earth ( food wise )

Would easily swap him for the mrs in a second...

Do you do daily exercises? What exercises do you do? Just walks/jogs etc?

How long do they need exercising for each day? And would it be alright too have them say if I worked a 9-5 shift every day and spend most of the time at home with thwm and take them out for walks etc or go to a local park for an hour or so each day?
