Got the hx850 i oppend it and forgot how all the parts should be should the fan be blowing up or down in to the psu? there is a sticker on the fan should it be poiting up or down and could someone take a screenshot of the psu close up so i can see where the Plastic thing should be the one that you screw on under the fan

the fan should be blowing into the PSU. generally there are two arrows on fans, one for rotation direction and one for air flow. make the air flow arrow point into the PSU

Fan needs to draw air in from outside and blow down on the PSU components. Usually you'll have arrows on the fan casing or failing that have the fan struts innermost to the PSU. Or check the million images of your PSU on google to work it out for yourself.

As for this 'plastic thing' I've no idea.

Why'd you take your PSU apart anyway?

I did look on google and there fan
Blows up With the sticker poiting down to the power supply maybe someone that owns a hx850 can help me?

I have this PSU and can confirm that the fan pushes air into the PSU (the "yate loon" badged part of the fan facing into the PSU). If you look here you can see the way the fan sits in relation to the grill (second photo down).

May I ask why you opened it up? Won't that invalidate the 7 year warranty?

Well My yate thing is poiting down but when i put My hand over the psu it fells like Its blowing up

Put tissue in front of the fan carefully and this show if your fan is drawing in or blowing out., but 99.9% of PSU draw air from the case and extract at the rear of the PSU.

That's the funny thing about fans moving air. It's so hard to tell which way it's going. Use the long bit of paper trick. If it bends towards you it's blowing at you, if it's sucked to the grille or into the fan it's blowing away from you.
