Hybrid Bike Advice

I'm currently in the process of trying to sell my Kona Scrap 08 which I've hardly used and my older Giant SCR3 and am looking for a hybrid bike for commuting/general exercise cycling.

I'm after something that's not just a road bike. I've seen the Kona Dew Plus/Deluxe models and would like anyone's opinion.

They seem reasonably sturdy and have good reviews. They also look like they'd be good cycling along the odd path off the road.

That'd be my suggestion, too. Giant TCX etc is where I'd start looking.

Yeah, if your budget can stretch to a CX I'd definitely consider one.

I bought a Scott hybrid last year for commuting, general exercise and trails on the weekend. Its done its job perfectly, but I do pine every time I see or hear someone mention a TCX

.

Best thing to do would to find a shop that allows test rides and try a few hybrids and CX's.

I saw the new 2011 Boardman range yesterday and their hybrids are lovely.

Hybrids are the worst of both worlds rather than the best. Buy a Cyclocross bike
