Hybrid Bike Maybe?

Hey Guys,

I currently am looking at doing a little more of road cycling around Dartmoor but would also like to have the ability to hop off road, riding anywhere around the rocks etc. Obviously my Giant, isnt designed for this the tiny rims would die instantly.

So I am looking at getting a second more offroad able bike, does anyone have any suggestions for a good type of allrounder performer? Preferably a more of a upright that a low handlebar setup as I like to see what im rolling over on this hills

Sorry guys, can someone please clarify is an XC a brand? or a short term for something.

I did look at them Jonny, however I would like a bike with no drop handle bars really as I find that position better going off road.
